Alberta to Colombia

Hi all. I'm back on this blog thing again. I'm currently in Medellin, Colombia and starting up a three month field season on Sunday in Tatama national park. I have been travelling around Colombia for the past two weeks, but not really taking pictures. Once i get settled in I'll try to post more regularly, but its definitely possible that this blog will be dead again for another nine months. Then again, maybe I'll actually post stuff... so check back.  

So, why have I not written anything since May? Well, basically, I've been hella moody and nobody needs to hear me complain on the internet. Alberta was far from what I expected and not entirely a happy experience. I ended up cancelling Peru and staying in Vancouver for the fall, with the exception of a bit of work I did in Australia. I also just haven't really felt like it... so there's that. 

I'm feeling a little less talkative these days but I do have a bunch of photos. I think I may also be more likely to post in the future if its primarily photos instead of a bunch of writing. So, here you go.... some pictures from the last 9 months. Pictures from Colombia will follow as they come. Maybe I should just get a tumblr or an instagram. Apparently it's the cool thing to do.
